It has been reported to Tow Times that John Martins, owner of Sterry Street Towing of Providence, Rhode Island, has died of injuries received when the heavy-duty tow truck he was driving crashed on I-95 in Connecticut. He died on September 27.

Martins, 52, was driving his rotator September 4 when reportedly a tire blew and the vehicle struck a bridge, traveled down an embankment, hit a tree and burst into flames.
